Recovery Observatory Technical Seminar
Port au Prince from December 5th to 8th, 2017

In the week of December 4, 2017, the RO Haiti team organized a technical seminar for RO users.

The purpose of this mission was to:

• Develop between Haitian and foreign experts a common methodology for thematic products, and the implementation schedule;
• Present the first version of the RO exchange platform and conduct training sessions on its use;
• Conduct a training session to use the RAZOR tool;
• Develop the first draft of the RO Capacity Building Plan;
• Forge a partnership with the academic community around the RO project, to ensure significant involvement on their part in the implementation of RO and related capacity development.

The week was closed by a formal steering committee meeting to confirm the progress and decisions of the week.
